Interprovincial Transit Strategy
City to City, De ville en ville
 Summary Report: Phase III Consultation
Minimize

During Phase III, the Project Team sought input into the transit options developed for each of the five Transportation Pillars that are guiding the Strategy. The pillars are:

1.    Focus on the User
2.    Operations—policies and service modifications
3.    Infrastructure—loops and links
4.    Transit City Building
5.    Governance.

Due to the highly technical nature of the materials under review at this Phase in the Strategy, consultation activities were designed for key stakeholders and local transportation engineers and technical experts. Activities were held between February 12 and 18, 2010, and included (1) a series of three stakeholder workshops and (2) a presentation and discussion with the Canadian Institute of Transportation Engineers (CITE) National Capital Section members. Each meeting served as an opportunity to update key stakeholders on the Strategy’s progress and to seek input to further refine the transit options being considered.
